1- Contact and meet in person to understand the level of service to be provided and to communicate expectations and approximate due dates.
2-Reach a preliminary agreement as to our professional fee and get a reasonable retainer. Sign and engagement letter for the services to be provided.
3-Obtain taxpayer documentation and questionnaire. The questionnaire will guide the taxpayer in getting all the information needed and maximize their tax refund or minimize their tax liability. Documentation can be processed either using original and/or photocopy documents.
4-Verify both the driver's license and social security cards. Obtain copies of both documents for next year's services.
5- Tax preparation and submission of a preliminary draft to the taxpayer for review and approval. Incorporate any changes based on taxpayer feedback.
6-If the taxpayer is not satisfied with the service, at this point, the taxpayer can withdraw from the engagement.
7-Obtain authorization from the taxpayer to e file and direct deposit/draw to a designated bank account(s).
8-E file the tax return and submit an electronic copy to the taxpayer(s) and submit a final invoice to the taxpayer.
9-Obtain from the taxpayer payment in full for services completed. Arrange for the return of all original documents provide.
10-Provide a hard copy of the tax return on a binder. The taxpayer may return to us a survey regarding the service provided.
